Any thoughts on why this show is always attacked?

My guess is probably because of the writer. People seem to hate him from what I read.

I believe it's a girl who wrote InuYasha. It's a great anime but people are prejudice against it.

It's bashed because most feel it's too girly to them, and on some points I can concur but it's still awesome.
